Responsibilities Capt. Ansari is responsible for Projects assigned to him from time to time and assisting the Chief Executive in ensuring that tasks assigned to various departments/ individuals are completed by due date. In addition he is authorised to issue reminders on behalf of CE and communicate his instructions to all concerned.
Experience
Captain Ansari has extensive experience of the industry and financial sector. While in the Navy, he held some very senior positions, which required management, technical and financial skills. He has undergone extensive training courses in UK and France. He was in Kuwait for 3 years providing advisory services to Kuwait Navy in the establishment of their first Naval Base. He was also General Manager (Sales and Marketing), Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Limited, one of the largest engineering concerns of the country for 5 years. He was Marketing Advisor at JS Investment (ex-ABAMCO), managing Open-end Mutual Fund in the private sector. He has been with the Arif Habib Investments from the time of launching of its first two open-end mutual funds i.e. PSM and PIF in March, 2002.
