Beg is the founder Chief Executive of Arif Habib Investments Limited. He has extensive experience of over 40 years of industry and financial sector in both domestic and international markets. Beg served at senior positions at various institutions. As Deputy Chief Executive of National Investment Trust Limited (NIT) he was a key member of the professional team that successfully turned around NIT during its difficult period. In 2003, he was part of the task force set up by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan to develop Voluntary Pension Scheme.
